Winter Jam. If you ever get the chance to attend the Winter Jam concert, don’t pass it up. That was my fist concert ever and I got to see ten different artists, not to mention how amazing it was for my spirit.
When your friends do something completely unexpected. I have an extremely introverted friend and she usually refuses to interact much with anyone, but never strangers. Today she just starts talking to someone none of us knew about marriage, and it was the funniest thing I encountered all day.
Chocolate Chip cookies. I baked some Hagrid-sized cookies today. They were largely awesome (see what I did there?).
The Winx Club. If you ever watched the Winx Club (or still do, totally not judging you if you do), you had a good childhood.
Taking the time to just talk to friends. I spent two hours just sitting in a restaurant with a good friend and mentor of mine, and it was wonderful. We didn’t try to actually do anything, just talked. You should try it sometime.
Scarves. I didn’t really like scarves on me until a couple of weeks ago. I really enjoy them now though. I wouldn’t mind if you gave me several.
That feeling when you think really hard about completely pointless things to the point where your head feels like it’s going to explode. I guess I’m a Ravenclaw through and through because I super love thinking too much.
Days when I wake up feeling absolutely happy. Some days, I wake up when the sun is just cresting the horizon and a bird is singing a fanfare for its approach. The air is sweet, the world is beautiful, and it is going to be a good day. You know the feeling? It doesn’t happen all that often, but when it does, my entire week tends to look a little bit brighter.
Dress shopping. Who am I kidding? I love any kind of shopping, but somehow looking for dresses has always managed to be my favorite. I used to pick them based on how well they twirled, and I still require a dress to make me feel like a princess before I buy it.
Oz The Great and Powerful. I saw this movie twice in two days and I’m still absolutely loving it.
Making spontaneous social events. I’m a pretty introverted person, my mother is a very organized woman, and I’ve been a bit sheltered growing up. Combining all of these facts means that I rarely make social commitments on the fly. Usually, I know about them at least days in advance, maybe even weeks. Whenever I do actually happen to be in the right place at the right time and a bunch of stuff somehow mashes together giving me the opportunity to do something social at a moment’s notice, I feel so special. Honestly, I kind of feel like I’ve cheated the system and there’s nothing the system can do to change that fact.
Cameron Dokey. Cameron Dokey is a great author.
Rainy days. I love when I’m at home on an overcast and drizzly day. I feel absolutely no guilt curling up on my couch with my cat, a good book, and a steaming mug of tea. Sometimes those lazy days are just what I needed to de-stress.
Grandfather clocks. I don’t know what it is about those clocks, but they are so cool. I love being at my grandpa’s house because not only does he have a gorgeous grandfather clock, but he also has about six other chime clocks. When they all go off it has such a cool effect.
Typing a paper for school and realizing just how much you’ve written. I tend to start writing papers for class and eventually get so fed up with it that I go back to self edit. When I scroll back up, it always amazes me because I have so much written. I feel so productive.
Naps. Yawwwwn, I think I’ll take one now, if you’ll excuse me.

When I come up with something really clever right on the spot. Take the 17th and the 18th for example. I just thought of that, off the top of my head. Normally, I think of really awesome stuff to add to the conversation only after the topic has moved on to other subjects. On the rare occasion that I do think of something right away, I feel really special.
When my cat is afraid of birds. She will sit at the window and hide from the birds. It doesn’t matter what type of bird it is, if it’s got wings, my cat is terrified of it.
Vintagey cameras. My house is full of beautiful old vintagey stuff, but I think out of all of it my favorite is our vintage camera. I don’t know if it still has the capacity to work, but I think it’s from the 1950s-ish. I think it’s pretty.
Making discoveries. I love learning, and along with that, I love seeing things in a new light. Whether I learned something about how the world works, or a bit of celebrity gossip, I still feel like I’ve added a brand new discovery to my repertoire.
The Vu’s. Deja vu, presque vu, and jaimes vu are super cool. In case you don’t know what they are, here’s a quick runthrough. Deja vu: When you experience something that you know you’ve experienced before, but you can’t remember when or how. Presque vu: When you are trying to remember something you know you know, but you just cannot remember it for the life of you, this is also known as tip-of-the-toungue. Jaimes vu: When something completely familiar to you all of a sudden seems new and completely foreign. I would recommend looking them up in greater detail sometime, they’re really cool.
Accomplishing a major pile of to-do list stuff really quickly. There are times when I feel like I’m constantly going and I never have enough time to do the things I want to do. When I finally do get time, I crank out so many of those little things so fast, I feel like a superhero.
When someone makes a reference that you wouldn’t understand if you hadn’t read some piece of classic litterature and you understand it. I just recently got into classic literature, and occaisionally, someone will make some comment with a subtle reference in it and I catch the reference now! I feel like I’ve leveled up every time or something.
Having school off. I may be a nerd, but I still enjoy my time outside of the classroom.
Landon Austin. This guy is a singer and he has a great voice, and beautiful songs. You should go check him out.
Free advertising. I’m sure all of these people and products that I reccomend on this blog just love that I’m giving them publicity. You’re welcome, companies!
Bouncing up and down with curly hair. I love when my hair bounces, it makes me feel like I am five again.
The immortal jellyfish. Will someone please buy me one of those as a pet? I would feel so special if I had my very own immortal jellyfish.
Easter. Happy Easter everyone! I don’t know if you’re Christian or not (not judging if you aren’t), but today is such a cool day from a Christian perspective. Easter is the assurance that we are forgiven.
