About

The internet is an interesting place full of many magical adventures.  Unfortunately, it also contains an unhealthy amount of negativity, profanity, vulgarity, you name it.  Pulchra es intus et amo is a blog designed to counteract that with a stereotypically sunshine-and-rainbows view on life with perhaps a dash of sarcasm thrown in here and there.

Now, before the hate starts coming about how the world isn’t actually perfect and ignoring problems won’t solve them and why don’t I get a realistic view on life, let me explain myself.  I understand full well that there are a gazillion things wrong with the world, and the last thing I want to do is ignore problems.  I happen to be of the opinion, however, that it is better to have a bright outlook on life even with all of its flaws than to feed those problems by crassly exposing them.  It’s like that one Dumbledore quote: “Happiness can be found, even in the darkest of times, if only one remembers to turn on the light.”  Hopefully, you agree with me (and Dumbledore) and we can go find a sunset to skip off into together.

On a more serious note : This little post gives a more comprehensive explanation of why I do what I do.

Thanks so much for taking the time to come here and read my little attempt to beautify the internet.  It makes me feel like you are hugging me in a completely not weird way through the internet.  I happen to be a fan of hugs, so thanks again!

Yours until the ocean wears rubber pants to keep its bottom dry,

That one person who is in charge of this whole shenanigan

  1. Hey sis!!!!!!!!!!! You’re petting the cat, but don’t get to attached to her, because don’t forget that we have to stuff her into her computer to be a spy! I love you, and I wish you stop reading, because i’m going to put a very special secret below.
My sister feeds people’s legs to dinosaurs!!!
Have fun with your website, and don’t send to many dinos after people!

  2. The first time I saw your blog name, it intrigued me and I had to know what it meant. I absolutely adore the definition! It makes me smile just reading it, and I love the reminder that the world isn’t such a dark place after all. Thank you for sharing some light through the vast web! I’m a fan of hugs, too, so I’m sending a completely non-creepy one.
Looking forward to reading more of your posts! 🙂
